Meet the Founder
My name is Barsha Baral, and I founded Immediate Health Placements alongside my husband with a deep understanding of what quality care truly means. At heart, I am simply a mom, a wife, and a nurse — a mother of two young children, who inspire everything I do.
During my recent maternity leave, I found myself reconsidering the idea of returning to long shifts, night duties, and time away from my babies. While nursing has been my passion for many years, I also wanted a way to continue contributing to healthcare without missing the precious moments at home. That desire to balance family life with meaningful work is what led us to establish Immediate Health Placements.
I have been working as a nurse for six years in the NHS and graduated at the top of my BS in Nursing class in 2015. I also hold a Master’s degree in Global Development and Peace from the University of Bridgeport in the United States. My husband, Riwaj Chetry, is an overseas-qualified pharmacist and currently works in the UK as a Pharmacy Accuracy Checker Technician. With both of us rooted in the healthcare field, we understand the pressure, responsibility, and commitment required to deliver excellent care every day. We know that every time you need cover, whether due to sickness, unexpected absences, or urgent increases in demand, you aren't just filling a shift; you're safeguarding patient care. That's why we established Immediate Health Placements—to be the agency we, as healthcare professionals, would trust.
